An 8 KW diesel genset is the primary power source for this system in Big Lake, Alaska. The owner chose an 1800 amp - hour utility cell battery bank to power his spacious log home using a TRACE SW4024 to supply 120 Volt AC. Plans for the future include a solar array, although the generator only runs 4-6 hours a week as is.
